You have nothing to lose, nothing to gain,
Walk alone endlessly through the pain.
The end might not be happy,
But that does not make life feel wasted.
Doesn't matter what was in the past,
Do something unbelievable that will truly last.
Be unstoppable, be rebellious,
Let the world grow more and more curious.
Choose the path least expected,
Lead all who follow where others feared to go.
Believe in yourself and a dire faith,
Like a ray of light,
Stay determined and walk straight on.
There will be thorns, then there are the stones,
No time to cry, nor to mourn.
Then you might wonder:
Life took your happiness, snatched your precious, seized your freedom,
And crushed what you feel.
But your determination...
...Your determination for your goal is what it could not steal.
Then comes the light at the end of the road,
That sheer happiness and rush of achievement.
You made the world bend on its knees,
And the immortal you, like a never-ending breeze.
And then Life, as usual, says:
"Still a long way to go, don't get too easy."
But you, with inexplicable politeness, mutter:
"At last, in the end, I can smile and rest in peace."
